Festival Celebration, A Reason Why Some Nigerians Are Poor

When festival is heard, another thing that follows is celebration and celebration involves money.

It is well known that series of festival celebrations are done yearly in Nigeria and some other countries.

Nigeria is known for being a developing country that is not yet developed but the way they observe celebration leads to poverty,

Some of the festival celebrations in Nigeria include: Easter celebration, harvest by some churches,Christmas, New Year celebration, burial celebration, new yam festival, and lots more celebrated by the northern part of Nigeria

In some part of Nigeria like Igbo and Yoruba, people spend about a million naira to bury a dead person that won’t live again and have no other impact to make again.

After spending this amount of money, such much will not be reversed.

During Christmas celebration, people will travel from afar to come to the village to come and spend their money.

Even those that don’t have the money claim to. The money spent won’t come back.

For the catholic, they will have about 4 to 5 celebration observe yearly. None of these costs less.

Sometimes we should try to help ourselves since the federal government no longer care about it.

Let’s be economical because the economy is no longer good. Do not spend your money unnecessarily.
